Where are you located?
We are located in Johnson City, TN.
How are training goals decided?
Training starts with a free phone consultation which you can book with us under our “Contact Us” page. During this consultation we discuss the ins and outs of your dog’s behaviors, your lifestyle, environment, and your ultimate training goals so we can customize a training program that will work for you and your dog.
What is private training?
Private Training Programs are one-on-one training with a professional trainer. Each training session lasts up to an hour and we’ll meet on a weekly basis. These customized programs are designed to educate you on why your dog does what it does and how you can motivate them to do better. Each week we will layer new techniques, concepts, and skills. Your commitment to practicing at home is imperative for your dog’s success.
What is a board and train?
A Board and Train allows for consistent and effective training on a daily basis with professionals. Each dog has an individualized training plan that is carried out through one-on-one sessions with trainers, participating in group sessions with other board and train students, and off-site training to get real world experience in local areas.
how do i get trained?
During booking we schedule two Private Lessons during your dogs Board and Train for you to get hands on experience working with your dog on the new techniques, skills, and concepts to ensure you have the proper education and understanding in order to maintain training at home.
I have a question after training, how do i get help?
After the completion of a program you have six-months of free support to reach out to your trainer for any follow up calls, text, emails, zoom meetings, video submissions for feed back, and private maintenance sessions.
What is your cancellation / refund policy?
Refunds will not be available. In some cases, a credit may be given or a transfer may be permitted. This occurs on a case-by-case basis and is not guaranteed. We suggest being sure you have selected the appropriate dates for class or appointments prior to registration and that you are able to commit to working with your dog.
In an effort to respect our clients’ and trainers’ time, we require a 48-hour notice for cancellations of Private Training appointments. If an appointment is cancelled with less than a 48-hour notice you will forfeit that session with the exception of inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
